Important Information Regarding Assessment and Classification of Property
This may affect your 2026 property taxes.
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Appeal and Equalization for the City of Dassel will meet on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at the Dassel City Hall, 460 3rd St N. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor.
If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact the Meeker County Assessor’s office (320-693-5209) to discuss your concerns. If you disagree with the valuation or classification after discussing it with the assessor, you may appear before the board of appeal and equalization. The board will review your assessments and may make any corrections as needed. Generally, you must appeal to the local board before an appeal can be taken to the county board of appeal and equalization.
