Dassel history buffs will enjoy Lydia Anderson Nelson's story of her childhood in the 1880s in the Lake Jennie area of Meeker County. Follow her early life up into adulthood as a mother herself. The story is full of adventure, drama, tragedy and triumph, all experienced while living in a strong and open faith in Christ. Be inspired with the faith that guided her through life. If you grew up in the Dassel area you undoubtedly will know some of the descendants of her father Ingel Anderson, as well as other families who surrounded them. Some are still with us.
